IIAS and IASIA Participated in MENAPAR 2025 Conference

Diogo Pereira,

The MENAPAR 2025 Conference, held in Amman, Jordan, from April 28 to 30, brought together leading regional and international stakeholders to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration in the field of public administration. Under the theme “Public Administration in the MENA Region: Transitions, Resilience, and Future Prospects,” the event provided a dynamic platform for high-level dialogue on innovation, institutional transformation, and governance reform in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

Dr. Najat Zarrouk, President of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), led a distinguished panel discussion titled “The Role of Administration Schools and Institutes as Catalysts for Modernization and Institutional Development.” Held on April 28, the session featured Directors General from the national schools of administration of Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, and Algeria, and underscored the critical role of academic institutions in shaping agile, effective, and forward-thinking public sectors.

The conference concluded with a Closing Ceremony co-chaired by Dr. Sofiane Sahraoui, Director General of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), and Eng. Shorouq Abdelghani, reflecting the deepening collaboration between IIAS, IASIA, and MENAPAR, and their shared commitment to strengthening public administration in the MENA region.

The active participation of IIAS and IASIA reaffirmed their dedication to building bridges between regions, promoting knowledge exchange, and supporting inclusive and innovative governance systems—locally, regionally, and globally. This engagement is fully aligned with the mission of IIAS to improve public governance research, education, and practice.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is delighted to share an exclusive video interview with its newly elected President, Srinivas Voruganti. In this insightful conversation, President Voruganti outlines his vision, priorities, and strategic plans to guide IIAS toward becoming a future-ready, inclusive, and globally connected institution.
